Not much Bloggle news today, but watch out tomorrow for the first Bloggle comic 'Search Engine Purity' based upon the excellent xckd 435 (thanks to Randall Munroe at xckd for allowing me to post it). Some lucky subscribers may have got a sneak peak (you lucky people)...but for everyone else, tomorrow all will be revealed at about 16:00 GMT, 12:00 EDT, 9:00 PDT. The clock is ticking.

Bloggle productions presents.... JIM

Bloggle_jimFirst off, apologies for the lack of activity yesterday...Bloggle is undergoing some insignificant changes.

For a while now I've been trying to think about what Bloggle can offer you, dear reader, that you can't already get elsewhere at the myriad of other blogs that cover the same or similar stories to Bloggle. For a start, Bloggle has a bias towards Google stories and an emphasis on humour. But what else will make you stick with Bloggle even when times get tough? And so...announcing...Bloggle Jim.

Who is Bloggle Jim and why should I listen to him?

I'm delighted to welcome Jim onto the Bloggle team. Every day Jim will be rounding up the day's search and technology news in a pithy and digestible way. No reading through pages of blog posts on loads of different sites - Jim knows what's important and he'll explain it to you in simple and quick way. In fact, he'll be succinct as to offer just one word every day that will help you, the reader, understand exactly what has happened.

You'll also be able to follow Jim on Twitter. Of course you can follow me on Twitter to receive updates of all blog posts.

Once Jim has found his feet in his new role, he'll be accepting suggestions for Jim's 'One word blog' post with possible prizes. Stay tuned and follow Jim on Twitter.
